A Prayer for Anglican Church Women Almighty God, Our Heavenly Father, we pray thee to bless and direct our work for the extension of Thy Kingdom; and make us thankful for the precious gift to us of Thy Beloved Son, that we may pray fervently, labor diligently, and give freely to make him known to all as Saviour and King; through the same Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord,; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the Glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. | ||

Ladies' Arts & Crafts Social Friday, July 13th |
(Usually) on the 3rd Friday evening of each month, starting at 7 PM, some of the ladies of St. Bartholomew's
gather to undertake artwork, crafts or other projects. Each one brings her own project such as scrapbook,
embroidery, etc. The evenings are a very good way of getting together to share ideas and to enjoy one another's company. Location TBA. |

ACW Fall Bazaar Nov 9 and 10 |
The ACW has scheduled a Fall Bazaar for Nove3mber 9th and 10th. We need help from all our parish members - men,
women and children!
In order to meet our outreach goals for the year and prepare for extra expenses connected with hosting the 2008 Diocesan Synod a successful fundraiser is important. (A bazaar and/or garage sale is also a good way to meet the people that drive by our church every day!)
The things we need for our bazaar are: November 4th will arrive sooner than you think! Please START THINKING ABOUT YOUR PROJECTS NOW! (Summer might be a good time for sorting through your storage areas and setting aside Christmas decorations you no longer need.)

Other Projects |
Other projects being considered are Parents' night out and Homework Help. Any other ideas for fundraisers or outreach programs are welcome. Please contact any board member with your suggestions.
