News from St. Bart’s (3/1)

Dear Brothers & Sisters in our Lord,

A blessed Ash Wednesday to each & all of you.

In response to questions from a number of you regarding Lenten disciplines, and with some input from Father Bart, I have posted a Guide to Keeping a Holy Lent that can be viewed on our website by clicking here.

Don’t forget that this Day of Holy Obligation will be commemorated with Blessing & Imposition of Ashes and Holy Eucharist this evening at 6:30pm.

On Friday, Stations of the Cross begins at 6pm.  (Stations will be observed on Fridays at 12 noon beginning next week for the remainder of Lent.)

This SundayThe Litany in Procession & Sung Mass commences at 10am.  Sunday School for children also gets started at 10am in the Leen Center’s first classroom.  Be here, and be on time!

And finally, make our forthcoming Rector’s Forumbeginning next Wednesday at 6:30pm—a part of your Lenten disciplines, and feel free to invite family members, friends, neighbors &/ or work colleagues as well.  The sessions will offer time for questions & discussion.

God grant you a most holy Lenten season.

Much love & many blessings,
rtd+
