Installation of Rev. Fr. Scott Herb as Rector March 24th

It is with great pleasure the Vestry can share the news that, on March 17th, they unanimously voted to call Rev. Fr. Scott Herb as the new Rector of St. Bartholomew’s and that Fr. Herb has accepted the call.

Fr. Herb will be joining us this Sunday, March 24th, to be installed as Rector by Bishop Hansen.  He will remain in the area the week of the 24th-31st and intends to celebrate his first Mass as Rector of St. Bartholomew’s Sunday March 31st.

Rector Candidate Fr. Scott Herb Visits March 10

As announced by Bishop Hansen this past Sunday, we are blessed to be able to welcome Rev. Fr. Scott Herb, currently Rector of St. Mark’s Church, Victoria and formerly priest at The Parish of St. Mark’s, Portland, for the Lent I Eucharist, March 10th.

Fr. Herb has agreed to be considered a candidate for Rector at St. Bartholomew’s and will meet with the Search Committee following the service.

Please be sure to attend Mass on the 10th to meet and welcome Fr. Herb on this visit to our parish!

To allow all parishioners and family members to participate in Fr. Herb’s liturgy, Sunday School on March 10th will be cancelled.
